Coronavirus Update

25th May 2020 -Update

Our website is open and fully trading. This is currently the best way to stay up to date with stock, prices and to place your orders. We will ensure you are kept up to date on our Homepage as well as on Social Media with any new developments

Our Showroom in Torquay is now Open from 8.45am-5pm Monday -Friday. We have implemented Social Distancing & Sanitising measures within our showroom, If you would like more information Contact us 01803 310333.

We will endeavour to dispatch your items as soon as we can, however with current high demands on our stocks, there may be slight delays with some deliveries We will ensure that you are personally notified should this be the case. However should you wish to contact us to get an update on your order please do so on 01803 310333. We are working hard at FED to ensure that our customers needs are met, but also the need to ensure the Health & wellbeing of all our team members is paramount, So we only have a small team working on all your orders at present, so please be patient should there be a slight delay. Standard UK Delivery (UK mainland only)

    Free delivery on orders over £50.00

    Free Standard Delivery on online orders requires a minimum order value of £50.00 ex. VAT. This service is only available for UK Mainland addresses only.

    Standard UK Delivery (UK mainland only)

    • A delivery charge of £6.00 (£7.20 inc. VAT) will be charged for orders with a order value of less than £50.00 ex. VAT.
    • Delivery is usually made within 3-5 Working Days
    • Standard delivery only applies to mainland UK orders and excludes remote and offshore areas.
    • Standard delivery excludes weekends and UK holidays.
    • Orders placed after 3PM on a Friday and over the weekend will then be processed the following Monday.
    • Standard UK delivery charge excludes Northern Ireland, Highlands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight. For these areas please call us for an alternative delivery estimate.

    Stock Availability

    Delivery times are subject to stock availability - we will do our best to keep our stock availability estimates on the product pages up to date. But these are only an estimate, please contact us on (01803) 310333 Allsop & Pitts to check stock availiabilty.

    Items such as heavy equipment and some crockery items may have an extended delivery time.

    • We will adhere to try and get these items sent out as quickly as possible but items may take up to 7-10 working days, please note we cannot guarantee delivery times for any products
    • Orders will only be dispatched when the order is complete and full payment is recieved.
    • Please contact us to confirm the exact delivery time.

    Non Stocked Items

    • Equipment and Machines are normally sent direct from manufacturer and therefore delivery times will vary - please allow up to 5-7 working days for delivery of all these items.

    Returning Sundry Items:

    We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However should you wish to return an item (excluding kitchen appliances), we will be happy to refund in full or exchange, if its in full resaleable condition (original packaging etc).


    Returns should be made within a resonable time (usually 10 working days) and in the original undamaged packaging. Should goods be delivered faulty, incorrect or damaged, please report to us immediately and confirm in writing within 3 days of the delivery. Please note that we cannot refund the postage fees and there may be a collection charge for any items returned. In both instances, please contact us on (01803) 310333 to obatin details on how to return your product.

    Returning Heavy Equipment:

    Please ensure that you have assessed all the technical specification, available on the website prior to ordering. Should you remain unsure of what product is right for you, please either use our contact form or helpline on (01803) 310333 for free impartial advice. Should you wish to return your heavy equipment item(s) it must first be agreed with Allsop & PItts. A restocking charge of 25% applies, and we reserve the right to charge for return carriage which will be deducted from the credit for the returned goods. Please note that any kitchen equipment items returned must be in their original packaging together with all manuals and accessories. In the event that you no longer have the packaging, we will be unable to accept the item(s).
    Credit will only be honoured once the goods have been received and inspected by Allsop & Pitts. In the event of returned goods being used and unsaleable, no credit will be given, and the goods will be sent back to the customer.

    Returning Heavy Equipment:

    Where goods are found to be fault upon receipt, we will arrange for collection of the item(s) and offer you the choice of a replacement item/part at no extra cost to you.

    Failure in the Warranty Period:

    Proof of purchase must be supplied before warranty repairs can be accepted.

    Where goods fail during the guarantee period, we will adhere to the manufacturer's warranty terms, which may involve collection of the item, supplying replacement parts or sending an engineer to site.

    If the fault is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing defect, we will arrange repair (or replacement if the goods cannot be repaired). If however, the fault is found to be due to normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage, we will provide a quote for rectifying the problem and you will be responsible for meeting the full cost of carriage charges and repair.
